Does LiLo envy ScarJo?
Recently, “wild child” Lindsay Lohan has been seen trying to put her life back into track. She feels that she could have had Scarlett Johansson’s career if she hadn’t partied as hard as she did.
“[W]hat hurts me the most is that I work just as hard as any other actress around my age, like Scarlett Johansson, but I just don’t get the opportunities that they get because people are so distracted by the mess that I created in my life. But that doesn’t mean it’s going to last forever,” Lindsay candidly reveals to Lauren Hutton of Interview.
It seems that she is already aware of her unruly and wild public and professional image, and she doesn’t like it a bit.
An obviously hurting Lindsay further confessed about her feelings about people who only see her as a “party girl”.
“And the worst part is, in terms of what people see of me, I have become this girl who just loves to be photographed, doesn’t know how to focus, doesn’t know how to work on set, just loves the attention, knows how to go out at night, knows how to party. And you know what? I was 20 years old. I never went to college. And I lived maybe six months out of my life like that, doing something wrong, and then I stopped,” the actress revealed.
She further adds, “If I started wishing that I could have do-overs in life, then I would never have been able to really learn from my lessons. I’m not necessarily grateful for certain ’situations’ in my life per se, but I am most definitely thankful that I have been able to learn from them.”
