Scarlett Shuts Down Unofficial Website

Now this is one celebrity you wouldn’t want to mess around with. Scarlett Johansson doesn’t like crude jokes, especially if said jokes include her name.
She won a lawsuit against scarlettjohannson.com, a web site which uses her full name, and has successfully shut it down.
Why, you ask? Well apparently, the website ran a joke contest offering site visitors for a chance to “win a smoking threesome” with Scarlett.
According to a source of Daily Express, “The ‘threesome’ reference was meant in a light-hearted way and actually referred to her film, ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona.’ But Scarlett clearly didn’t appreciate the joke.” Who, in their right minds, would?!
A representative for the website owner said that the contest was an “obvious, overt tongue-in-cheek manner” and “attempted to parody the typical Hollywood advertisement.”
The said website is no longer online since the first week of January.
I think that I would sympathize with Scarlett on this. I mean, I don’t think that she wants anyone to want to be in a “smoking threesome” with her when she’s already married. And I think that the thought that she would do it, is what repulsed her in the first place. The internet has so many rubbish floating around, that we users and surfers must be wary about. Sometimes, site owners go to the extent of using famous people’s names just to get a subscription or any attention from the visitors, so we must be extra careful about sites that offer “threesomes” or other out-of-this world prizes, because we never know, it might just be a con, right?
